An icon of the international design, the Chemex® is a simple and elegante method to prepare a filter Coffee that ensures a gentle and aromatic sensory experience. Perfect to make larger quantities of Coffee, with the Chemex® you can either make yourself a filter Coffee or make Coffee to share.

Made of non-porous glass, this equipment does not absorb any odours, and each extraction is sure to have the optimum quality to make the perfect cup of Coffee. Requiring a thicker paper filter, when compared to other methods, the Chemex® retains all the insoluble substances in the Coffee, and makes one of the cleanest beverages, free from any oils or sediments.

Place the paper filter in the Chemex® and apply to the kettle. Start by moistening the filter with hot water, which you will then dispose of. This step will preheat the equipment and remove all impurities.

Put 15 g of ground Coffee in the filter and add 30 g of hot water slowly and with spiral movements, for 30 seconds.

Then keep pouring water carefully until you reach 250 g of water. Finally, remove the filter and serve.
