The Aeropress® is an innovative, very practical and versatile method that prepares a uniquely flavoured filter Coffee with optimum body.
Suitable to prepare smaller quantities of Coffee, the Aeropress® is one of the most practical extraction methods for transporting and preparing Coffee anywhere. The method used is one in which the coffee is immersed in hot water for a certain time and then extracted under manual pressure. Meanwhile, an air column is formed that presses the Coffee through the paper filter. The combination of pressure with a paper filter grants this method some unique characteristics: the pressure applied allows for the best possible Coffee extraction, whereas the filter produces a clean harmonious beverage, without the Coffee’s natural oils.
The advantage of the Aeropress® is that each person will plunge differently, thus producing unique Coffees with versatile combinations.


1.
Grind 15 g of Coffee (recommended dose for 1 person), at filter grind.

To prepare the Aeropress®, the plunger must be inserted without pressing, until it is tightly sealed.

Then, invert the equipment and add the ground Coffee. Add 30 g of water for 30 seconds and allow the Coffee to mix with the water. After that time, add the remaining water at a temperature of between 92 ºC and 94 ºC and mix the Coffee and the water, using a paddle.

Wait for the intended time and place the preheated paper filter in the holder in the upper part. Tilt the coffee maker over a mug and slowly press the plunger all the way down, then serve.
